Charles is an award-winning musician and audio engineer who creates music with a sense of place. Coming to us from Maine, his work asks the question: “what role does sound play in combating climate change?” In an ongoing attempt to answer this question, he makes music from environmental sources and found-sounds, from glaciers, geothermal energy sources, household objects and the sounds of bicycling across the USA, whales singing and many other sources.
